Look of the Week : Metal head

The metallic look is a huge trend on 2017 runways and Make up lovers all over the world have fallen in love with it. In this look of the week, I wanted to take on metallic, chrome and glitter based eye shadows and show you how I interpreted this glamorous trend. I have a personal love for mixing metals. Whether it be jewelery or make up, I love rose gold, yellow gold and white gold combinations and it looks beautiful on your eyes as well. It's multidimensional and super eclectic.   If you want to pull off this look, It's time to invest in a great glitter or matallic palette...

Look of the Week : Merry Christmas

Christmas is here! It's my favorite time of year. The busy days, the nights out with friends, shopping for the perfect gifts and enjoying time with family. Of course, for me one of the highlights of the festive season is dressing up and theming my make up and hair. If you want a quick fix of sparkle for the season try one of my resent obsessions - glitter liners! Here I started off with my normal black #rimmel Liquid Eyeliner and drew my usual winged liner. Using it as a guideline, I swept on a layer of #nyx Crystal Liner in silver, just above the black liner. Pairing the...

Look of the Week : Raw as Red

For this Look of the Week I want to share with you my absolute favorite look/trend of 2016. It all started when I discovered a new make up collection by @chanelofficial and then watched a video of make up artist @luciapicaofficial creating a high-definition and daring look on actress @kristen_stewart_offical I was really captivated and couldn't wait to try it on myself. Coco Chanel once said “Red is the color of life, of blood, I love red.” Red exudes power, vulnerability, and warmth. It is a color that occurs naturally in the face, and it honestly couldn't be more flattering.   To create this look, sweep on layers of...

Look of the Week : My Ultimate Smokey Eye

The smokey eye trend is as much of a style staple as the little black dress. While it has gone through a few variations over the years, its longevity has cemented its place in the world of Makeup. The Smokey Eye can be done in a variety of colors and shades, my favorite is the neutral smokey eye which uses a spectrum of black to brown to nude eyeshadow colors. This color palette works on all skin tones and compliments any outfit. While some prefer to start by applying the lighter colors first, my advice is to start by applying the darkest shade close to the lash line...

Look of the Week : Lips and Lashes

This is a great minimalistic look that is all about striking the perfect balance between red lips and fluttery lashes. Best of all – it packs a great punch with very little effort!   Step 1 - Be sure to start with a light foundation base for flawless skin. Hide any blemishes and/or dark circles with a tinted moisturizer and concealer. Step 2 -Leave your eyes completely bare and pack on at least two layers of mascara to give your lashes tons of volume and definition. I use Maybelline Colossal Volume Express – Its always handy in my purse for a quick top-up. Step 3 - Pick a bold red colour...

Look of the Week : Color Blast

When it comes to make up, color, used properly both communicates and attracts. Color can change your mood, lift your spirits and best of all, lift the spirits of those around you. In this look of the week I want to inspire you to give daring colors a place in your make up regimen. Whether you're faced with gloomy weather or bogged down in routine, adding some great lip and eye colors to your make up regime can give you the boost you need to get through the day while making a bold statement about who you are. I used the vibrant greens and yellows in the Anestasia Beverly...

Look of the Week : Delirious

My inspiration for this look comes from a great little set of Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On eyeliners that I have been enjoying. It's a collection of matts, metallics and vivid neutrals, called Delirious. These liners are creamy, intensely pigmented, waterproof and come in fabulous shades. I don't usually use pencil liners to apply my winged liner but these 24 hour liners deposit lots of color without having to apply too much pressure. I was thrilled with the result. I used Delirious, a vivid purple,on my upper lash line, extending it outwards to create a wing. I then used Zodiac,a deep metallic green with a hint of sparkle, on...

Look of the Week : Street Cred

In the vast colour spectrum of lipstick, red represents classic bombshell glamour, however the shades just a few notches below it are something far more enigmatic. I have small lips so I never thought this trend spoke to me but trying it out was totally worth it and really gave me a confidence boost and brought out my tough side. For dark-lipstick novices, the berry family, from magenta to plum, is the easiest, least intimidating entry point. When talking about lips I have to address the over lining trend. The Internet is packed with 'How to get Kylie Jenner Lips' and how to successfully over line your lips...

Look of the Week : Fan-tastic

I am by no means a football fanatic but when the team I support is playing for a huge championship like the EuroCup, I can't help but show my support. What better way to do that than with my make up. Take your teams colors and incorporate them into your look. Get into the game! Photos by MGPhotostudio - Masha Grosman Model-Celeste Richard...

Look of the Week : Oh Betty!

The colorful 1950's was possibly the most glamorous decade for make-up. It certainly has its share of beauty icons, think Audrey Hepburn or Sophia Loren. Their make up looks defined an era that was without a doubt the age of glamour and sass. Now, almost 70 years later, it's still a staple and lots of fun to incorporate into your personal style. When thinking old school glamour your mind automatically goes to a powdery base, winged cat eyes and red lips. Here's how I created my perfect pin up look. Start with your usual creamy foundation base and set it with plenty of powder such as M.A.C Studio Fix for...
